Wirral University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest and busiest NHS Trusts in the North West of England. Wirral Met College is a Further and Higher Education College, with 5 campuses across the region, it is the largest provider of post 16 learning on the Wirral.

Project Brief

The two institutions partnered together for an ambitious campaign called '100 Apprenticeship Pledges in 100 days'. 

The aim of this campaign was to improve career opportunities for young people on the Wirral while simultaneously aiding employers in employee development and recruitment to support company growth. The campaign targeted potential apprentices to sign up to the scheme, while also encouraging small to medium-sized employers on the Wirral and the wider Liverpool City Region to back the campaign.

Working within the established brand guidelines of the NHS Trust, we crafted a unique and bold logo that became the cornerstone of the campaign. 

Drawing from the logo's elements, we developed a variety of graphic devices and patterns that were integrated across a wide range of campaign assets for print and digital platforms. This approach ensured a cohesive and powerful visual identity that resonated throughout the campaign.

The results were remarkable. Not only did the campaign achieve its ambitious goal of securing "100 Apprenticeships in 100 Days," but it exceeded expectations with 107 apprenticeship pledges by the campaign's conclusion. The extensive coverage by local press outlets, combined with a social media presence, amplified the campaign's reach to an impressive audience of over 36,000 individuals.
