Something About George
Something About Productions is a UK-based theatrical production company creating shows that celebrate the lives and music of some of the world’s most iconic performers. In honor of what would have been George Harrison’s 80th birthday, the company produced "Something About George"—a musical celebration that tells the extraordinary story of one of music’s most influential, yet understated, legends.
To commemorate this special show, Something About Productions wanted a souvenir programme that would not only enhance the audience experience but also serve as a cherished keepsake.

Our design process began with a deep dive into the visual culture of the 1970s and 1980s, the era when George Harrison’s solo career flourished after The Beatles. From that we crafted a programme that captures the essence of George’s legacy, incorporating graphic elements and design motifs inspired by the 70s and 80s. From retro typography to the colour schemes, every detail was thoughtfully chosen to evoke nostalgia and celebrate George’s impact on music.
The result is a nostalgic programme that transports audiences back to the height of George Harrison’s solo career and stands as a beautiful keepsake from the show.
